So, about the beach at Moon Palace... Some people make it sound really bad and others don't even mention it. Would pictures on the beach/in the water not be a great idea? I was hoping a lot of pictures could be taken there. I'm kind of new at this... in the beginning stages, so I'm just wondering what other people thought of this!

Amduram...I know you're new...so you might not realize, this thread is about the Moon Palace, most of us posting here have already chosen to get married there.
Your pictures of the Paradisus are great, but they might be of more use to Paradisus brides or undecided brides :) Try doing a serch to see if there are any threads specific to the Paradisus or post (new thread) a review of your site visit with the link to the photos. I'd hate for the poeple who could use them to miss them because they're in the wrong place.
Zeugirdoxela - I've heard mixed reviews about the beach. Because of where it is on the Island, it get a lot of seaweed/ But i know they have trucks that clean it off in the AM. We are using the resorts photog and have no problems taking pics on the beach there (if you search, you'll find links to other people pictures there...like Betsys). We are doing a TTD a few days after the wedding, we'll be using a local Cancun photog and doing them off the resorts grounds at a beach that is the crystal blue that Cancun is known for. Hope that helps!

SUBJECT: Table settings
Hi everyone, just to update you girls, I still have not had my 5pm time slot confirmed for the ceremony, but I do have a 6pm confirmed, so hopefully, my time slot will be confirmed soon!
Anyway, I appreciate the info about the different reception areas that was posted :)
I was wondering if any of you has information about the table settings for the reception?? I saw info about the cost of flower table settings, but if you have received information as to how much they charge for say the name cards, candles, etc. I saw some on their website and they look beautiful, but I am sure they cost a lot...I'm trying to figure out my budget, so info about this would help me a ton.
Thank you to all for posting!

Subject: MP Beach
As far as concerns regarding the beach, I saw tons of pictures of this on trip advisor, so you can get an idea of what it looks like.

Subject: MP Bride Bouqet
So, I saw some bouquets for the bride on the MP website, but they don't look that great and the selection is not that big, I am wondering if you guys have received pictures additional to the ones on their website and cost of those.
I know previous brides have chosen to get syntethic flowers, but I really don't want to go that route, more so in light of the fact they are already charging me for that on my weeding package.
Thanks for the replies :)

I'll be using real flowers too. I believe they have more of a selection when you get there. Or if you find a pic of something you like, bring it down with you and they'll try to replicate it or make something similar. I wasn't crazy about the ones on the site either, but I've seen brides and I liked their bouquets...not sure if that helps or not...

I mistakenly posted the wrong link to the MP. I revised my post and here is the correct link again... alexmduran/Moon Palace Riviera Maya - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The WCs have a very thick binder with pictures of all the upgrades you can get (including a bunch of different bouquets, cakes, etc.). They also encourage you to bring pictures of anything you have your mind set on (including a specific type of cake decoration, bouquets, flower decorations, etc.).
As far as the beach, they seem to have a big seaweed problem. It was even worse this past weekend because it was really windy. I originally wanted to beach ceremony, but now I am reconsidering that. My WC mentioned that we can decide on beach vs. gazebo last minute...
