Thanks so much for the feedback. I can't upload draft #2 because it's on the computer in the room where my friend is asleep. But, I have made the changes.
I made the text off center so it centers with the tree
I made the tree lighter green.
I put a thin black line around the peach date. It stands out better now.
I put a green oak leaf between the location & town
I'll move the name down too.
Once I have the chance I'll post the current version. We are going shopping for her wedding dress & my BM dress all day today so it might take me a while.
Thanks again! I'm so excited about them. It was fun for me to be able to contribute something to her wedding. As an out-of-state BM I won't be able to throw showers or anything like that.

Morgan - i didn't read anyone else's comments.
1st - i LOVE the tree - great image.
2nd - i think the tree should be centered closer to the top and the the "STD" could be under it maybe a size larger.
maybe it could say
"Save the Date"
for the wedding of

I am loving that oak tree. We went through many pages of google images until we found it. Then I cleaned up the picture & made it into a photoshop brush. It looks like an oak tree that was in my grandparents backyard. They built their house on that spot of land to be near the oak tree.

i love it, but agree with the changes you are making, one thing, it needs more peach somewhere! the only spot i see is the date. unless peach is her accent color, and green the main color.

I agree the wed date should be darker and I would also center the date (between the name and the place). Other than that awesome job!

With some of the minor editing they will be perfect!
You are a great friend to be doing this even though you're far away. I can't even get my BMs in the same city to come to the wedding muchless help with anything else! LOL
