Profile, Siggy, and Avatar Pics

Hi All,

 

We have had a few questions about siggy pics, profile pics and avatars so here is a little instruction guide to all the photos we use on BDW!

on the top left hand side of your screen there is a link that says User CP

click on that, and you will see a menu on the left side of your screen that gives you options to edit all your pictures and such...

Avatar's

this should be a small photo of you or a funny photo, remember this shows up on every post.

 

Profile Pictures

Profile pictures are uploaded and display on users profiles, currently these are disabled so while you are still able to upload a picture you will not be able to see your own profile or anyone elses. This has nothing to do with points or member status.

 

Please let any mod know if you need help or have questions.

Follow these steps if you want to host your siggy in photobucket:

 

 

When people have issues they are usually trying to put the code in the wrong spot.

 

Those steps show how to get a siggy. You'd paste a ticker code in the same spot.

Why am I getting "invalid file" when uploading my avatar? I uploaded a photo into photobucket, resized it to 100x100 and copid the http:// code in, and when I hit save, it's saying invalid file. Help!

I tried doing the same as Jacqui (resizing my monogram to use as my avatar but I keep getting invalid file). I have tried using each of the links that photobucket provides. Help!

Me too.. I was able to insert images in my postings but I cannot add avatar picture... INVALID!

me too! Just "invalid." So it looks like you guys figured it out; what was the problem so I can get a pic up?
