Hi All,
We have had a few questions about siggy pics, profile pics and avatars so here is a little instruction guide to all the photos we use on BDW!
on the top left hand side of your screen there is a link that says User CP
click on that, and you will see a menu on the left side of your screen that gives you options to edit all your pictures and such...  Siggy's
Here are some really helpful threads on Siggy's How to upload siggy Ticker for your siggy Siggy Size Limits - PLEASE READ
this is what a siggy might look like-remember to make sure its within the siggy size limits  Avatar's
here is a sample avatar 
this should be a small photo of you or a funny photo, remember this shows up on every post. Profile Pictures
Profile pictures are uploaded and display on users profiles, currently these are disabled so while you are still able to upload a picture you will not be able to see your own profile or anyone elses. This has nothing to do with points or member status.
Please let any mod know if you need help or have questions.

Question,
I have a picture that I want to use as my avatar but it is too big. How do I make it a smaller size? Right now I just dumped the picture from my camera onto my computer but it is 1,924 KB JPEG image. What do I do?

you can resize it in a photo program or on something like photobucket.

I have tried for two days to get a ticker and it keeps saying invalid. It also wont let my profile picture work. I really dont know what I am doing wrong. I copied the code you said to use and it wont work so I tried all of them. Still says invaild code everytime. | |

are you talking about siggys?
profiles are disabled so even if you upload it no one will see it.
go to your user profile and edit your signature...then enter the code for your ticker

Follow these steps if you want to host your siggy in photobucket:   
When people have issues they are usually trying to put the code in the wrong spot.
Those steps show how to get a siggy. You'd paste a ticker code in the same spot. | |

Why do you have to use photobucket? I was using ticker factory and using the bbcode that they said to copy and paste and it did not work. I do not have a photobucket account. | |

If you look at my picture you'll see the code for my ticker (the url was something like lafemmebonita). If that doesn't work, i'd try another ticker website. | |

That's been happening to me for awhile now, the "invalid file" or sometimes I get an "upload error" when I try to insert the code. You probably aren't doing anything wrong, it's some kind of glitch I suppose. The only way I get it to work is by trying repeatedly, getting frustrated, and trying repeatedly later...lol | |
