For all of you who have had OOT bags/shirts/hats embroidered or printed with a logo or image of your own, what is the average cost? Is that something you can just go to Kinko's and have done?

You have various options that I think Kinko's can help with but I haven't priced it myself.
OOT bags: The basic canvas (.99) totes are created by using iron-on transfer paper. Your home printer or Kinkos canprint the color transfers and you DIY. I've personally opted to upgrade the tote to a boat bag and forgo the personalization, I'll just do a tag. Including bag the DIY route should average $1.50e
Golf shirts: I found a seller on Ebay 135./12 including the logo embroidery ($11.25e) eBay: 12 POLO GOLF Shirts w/ FREE EMBROIDERED LOGO Wholesale (item 130060867584 end time Dec-25-06 18:32:46 PST)
I am thinking about visors as well and if so I'll DIY with the iron on applique.

Great find on the shirts - this is a really great price. It might be on here somewhere but where did you find the canvas bags for .99 cents each and how big are they?

The black ones are $1.49 each but still a great buy - I don't know why but I think they look cuter.

BTW the promo tote is .79 each and the canvas bag is .99 now on the website. They also sell transfer paper for ink-jet printers for .99 - not sure if that is a good price too.

Thanks all. Does the iron on paper work well? I'm afraid it will peel off the bog. Actually, I might copy and use the boat bags with no logo. That way people can use them after without having our wedding date and logo splashed all over the place.

Sarah, I am not quite sure about the black totes. See if your local Michael's or Hobby Lobby has them. I would imagine that they work the same but I never actually tried it. All of the brides that I am aware of either used the natural color or dyed the natural color to a semi-light color.
Transfer paper pricing. At .99 a sheet I think that may be high since you can get a pack of 20 or so for $12. but keep in mind that it comes in many qualities. Like I may have mentioned before I even purchased from the dollar store.
Kate, the iron-on route is supposed to be rather reliable. Most packages state that once the image is on it can withstand additional ironing and washing. I honestly think that if is lasts one washing that's good. For me it's just the idea of everyone having there bag.
Somewhere here Tammy(host) mentioned how good it felt to have guests recognized by other guests becasue of the bags. Tha'ts the feeling I was going for. Now that we can afford to upgrade to the teachers tote/boat bag... they can reuse it without any hesitations.
