i made a photobook of our wedding photos (all pro photos by elizabeth medina) with MyPublisher for my mom and dh's mom for mother's day. they are always doing specials for buy one, get a copy of the same book free...so it worked out perfectly for mother's day gifts.
here is the link for anyone who is interested in possibly using MyPublisher. i am very satisfied with their quality and intend to make one for us to have, also. MyPublisher | View your Photo Book, share and reorder. |

I love how you put the song lyrics by the dance pictures. Any chance you have the quotes you used typed where you can copy & paste them? There are so many great ones in your book I'd love to save. I also love the book jacket with the words on it. Your moms will love it!

I just made photobooks for my MIL and SIL (also a bridesmaid) last week. I can't wait to get them.
I'm going to make myself one too, but I don't know if I will use mypublisher. There were some things about the program that bugged me, like trying to fit the text into their little caption boxes (there is no way to make the caption boxes larger or move them around, and they only have like 10 fonts to choose from, and most of them are plain boring fonts). Although they have lots of different page layouts, sometimes they still didn't have anything to match my needs, i.e. I wanted 5 photos on a page, one of them vertical and the others horizontal, but they wouldn't have any layouts like that, so I'd have to change my photo choose to either more horizontals or more verticals (just a random example, but this happened to me several times). Also they have different styles of layouts, like some are more classic and plain, others are more fun / collage style. But you have to use the same style for the whole book, whereas I would have liked a mixture of classic and fun layouts (the classic ones always have the photos straight, there are none that are like diagnal or layered). I also didn't like the wedding background design and colors, they only have one choice (for the wedding background), and I didn't think the color went well with my photos. So I just stuck with plain white background.
So those are some of my complaints about mypublisher, but overall I'm still happy, I just would be happier if I could find another company that is more versatile.
Shipping to Canada is expensive unless you are ordering many of the same ones. Shipping is 17$ + 5$ for a duplicate (But so if you are ordering 3 different books it would be 51$ for shipping! ) There is no shipping discount for larger orders unless you are order multiples of the exact same book). In my case I want to put together different books for myself, my ILs and my own family, because I want the book to have more of a focus on those people who it's for. At least I will use duplicates for MIL & SIL, and also for my Mom and my sister, so that will reduce the costs.

Becky, the book looks great! I don't remember seeing your pics before now, but you are gorgeous! Great job designing the book, the moms are going to love it.

I suggest getting a program like lumapix (if you have a PC) to make your collages. After working with a program to make my collages, I can not stand to use a template. You have the ability to lay out your pictures whoever you want in any size.

Your moms will love it! | thank you everyone for your nice comments. i really appreciate them. morgan, i added a word attachment with lots of wedding quotes - some i used, some i did not, but they all should be on the attachment. i don't have the authors of the quotes. i found that when i was searching for quotes, there were quite a few times that i would write down the author and then find that another website listed a different person as the author...so, rather than list an incorrect author, i left all of my quotes w/out that info.

Great job, Becky! Your mom and MIL are going to love it! I've also been looking into MyPublisher and others as I know I'll definitely want to do a photobook after our wedding.
Yay... what a perfect mother's day present... they'll love it!
