This is not exactly in the Wine Country, its in Contra Costa County, just outside of San Fran near Berkley. Anyway this is my grandparents country club and from what I can tell its actually reasonbly priced and very beautiful. They have a newly remodeled/rebuilt clubhouse. The views are amazing, you can see all three main bridges from the ballroom and they have a large parking lot (always an issue). The kitchen staff makes great food, I have been eating their for years. I don't know if you can play golf their on the day of the wedding because it is private, but the ballroom and other banquet areas are open to the public for parties. The downside is no outdoor weddings.
I thought I would post it in case any brides are looking for a Bay Area Wedding and cannot find anything reasonable in the city (SF I mean).
I have always thought it was a beautiful location for weddings, and am really considering it for my own.
