DJ: Mannia Cancun

I know there are a bunch of references to Mannia Cancun in several threads, but I thought I'd start a thread specific to Mannia and Carlos Martinez, the general director.

Basic information:

Mannia Cancun is a private DJ that serves Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

Starting rates for 5 hours of service including lighting and a wireless microphone (as of 4/24/08 ) are $750 USD.

He also has a lighted dance floor and cold fireworks available for an additional cost.

The attached file contains a preliminary list of music that he provides when people inquire about his services.

I know several brides have booked him for their weddings, myself included.
I do not know of anyone who has actually had him for their wedding, but I'm hoping they'll chime in.

The cold fireworks are $240.00 for 4 explosions that goes off at the same time). The Lcd video projector and screen for slide show is $260.00.

I have booked Mannia for my wedding at Le Meridien. Carlos has been great with responding quick and giving me all the information I've asked for. I'd like to see if there are any brides that have already used Carlos and if they have pics of how he sets up.

I too have booked Carlos for my Dreams Cancun wedding. I know he is now a preferred vendor there for a slightly higher rate of $850 ( I think plus a 10% tax and 15% set up, I booked him before all this outside vendor stuff started). I can second the fact that he is very quick to respont to emails etc.

Carlos was my DJ and he was AWESOME!!! I just wrote up my review today and there was a section about him.

"DJ - Carlos Martinez from Mannia Cancun: He was FABULOUS!! My DH is so particular about music and wanted certain music played at certain times. He even gave Carlos a list of “banned” songs. Carlos was perfection and his timing was spot on. He kept the party going and the dance floor was never empty. He worked with us on lighting needs and even got us our explosions. He also surprised us with tons of balloons to get the party started. We were worry-free music wise. Our guests loved him, too! HIGHLY recommend."

Oh Antonia!!! I am soooooo excited to hear that you thought he was GREAT!!! Woohoo!!!

I was a little concerned that no one had stepped up saying he'd done their wedding, because i've been really impressed with him thus far, but it's great to hear from you!!!
