We ordered fantastic personalized travel mugs from Discountmugs.com. They looked fabulous. Everyone loved them. Everyone was happy. 
Of course, we bought them so people could enjoy their beverages on the beach. So here's my WARNING!!!! The personalized part of the mug will rub off when they're in the sun. I don't know if it's the combo of sunscreen & direct sunlight or what, but those EXPENSIVE personalization rubbed right off!
If I did it all again, I would NOT have paid the extra couple $$s to get each personalized. I'd definitely bring travel mugs - everybody loved them - but just plain ones that would've saved us lots of $$$$.
So there's my warning. Just buy the plain travel mugs!

Thanks for the info. I think we may just attach personalized tags to the mugs with rafia or ribbon when we give them out.

or you can just personalize them with a paint pen. I even tested it in the dishwasher & it doesn't come off.
