We stayed at two other SPG luxury properties in the area for our honeymoon:
Hacienda San Jose - OMG awesome
Hacienda Temozon - Very cool, but I liked hte service at HSJ better.
You can't go wrong with any of these, though.

That is such an awesome location... they host a number of celebrity weddings there. I think the following were married there or there guests stayed at the property. You're sure to have a great time if that's where you decide, plus it's pretty secluded.
Seal and Heidi Klum
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prince Jr.
Colin Cowie also planned a DW there featured in the Grace Ormonde magazine

There were rumors that Careyes was closing, but yesterday they emailed and said they'll be open in May 08. The place sure looks beautiful. A little pricier than other places we were considering. Anybody been to a wedding there?
