this was my first destination wedding ever, over a year and a half ago...just wanted to share for fun and in case you want to check out the scenery at the kahala resort and other island spots, lanikai included. the reception was at another location though in case you are wondering:) Photography By Kristie: wedding at the kahala in oahu

Great photos Kristie! Loved the scenic ones too. We have photographed a couple of weddings at the Kahala too..it is a gorgeous location isn't it! One thing for brides who are considering this location, unless they have opened it up again, as of last fall they started charging an extra fee if you plan on using or bringing your own photographer rather than one on their referral list. I have heard of more and more destination resorts adapting this policy..it's too bad. | |
