This is a great thread! I always have my hair done the same when I'm in weddings, updo with some curls, part off to the side, but all of you girls have some great pics with different ideas. I thought about possibly leaving my hair partially down, but my hair gets so frizzy in humidity, I think it would end up a MESS! I definetly want to have a trial here to at least figure out what I want. Are all of you going to do a trial here?

Jill - if u decide to check out the spa at Dreams and do a trial run please post some pics and a review because I'm leaning towards getting hair and makeup done there and wold really like to know if their good at all

Make up is scary. I hardly wear make up and when I did my trial it came out super done up (party style, but that's what I'd asked for). When I went back in to have it done for the wedding (at the Hilton - plugging their great job again), I brought a picture that's similar to those listed here (the woman with the brown hair).
They did a beautiful job. HOWEVER, when you look at yourself in the mirror it looks like a lot. When you see it in a photograph, it's not. The make up people know that.
I recommend falsh eye lashes. I have very thick lashes, but these made all the difference. Just don't buy crazy thick ones. Go to Sephora and explain what you're looking for and they'll match you up with the right ones. Take them with you and have the make up artist put them on for you.

Here was the a picture from my trial by my stylist at home. I wanted little flowers too (as you can see in the photo). But Maye ended up ordering me GIGANTIC flowers, so I could only use one. Another thing I should have confirmed the day before.
These were taken from a camera phone, so the quality isn't all that good.    | |
