Post your Hair and makeup ideas

Girls - Great thread! I love all of the hairstyles posted! I really love Rebecca's hair - although I don't know if I can pull something like that off. I have shoulder length hair, but the strands are super fine. I plan to have my hairstylist work with me on some styles I can create on my own. Not sure if that's the final plan, we'll see after I try :)

Just a thought - unless you want to look like another person completely, I would consider doing your own makeup. Since you don't wear any at all, I would worry that a pro would give you something (esp since it's "bridal") that is too much for you. You are a natural beauty & I think you should maintain that theme for your wedding. A lot of make up artists/estheticians will do a make up lesson with you so you can achieve the look you want on your own. Just an idea, but since you have time I think you could make it work on your own.

I agree, a professional may use way too much - and that's what I am afraid of, feeling like I look like a "clown" (as I put it). But honestly, I would have no idea how to put makeup on, since I've never worn any! And it's not that I think I am just so beautiful that I don't need it, it's really that I am too lazy to deal with it! lol And I can't stand the feel of "stuff" on my face. Even some lotions just make me want to wash my face right away. I may see if one of my friends can do it - and that way they can practice all they want before the wedding! Thanks for the tip!

That's actually what I was thinking as well. I was debating on having my makeup done here by someone I trusted and I could just replicate it in Cabo.

Great thread!! I'm hoping to wear my hair half up/ half down & I'd love to use some little flowers - something simple. I don't have a veil yet, so I'm not sure exactly... I like the Tiffany Theisan (sp?) pic that Edyta posted, but I don't know if I'll use a veil yet, or if I did, if I'd keep it in all night...

For those that are getting their hair & make-up done in Cabo, where / who are you using??

I'm going down to Cabo the end of this month for a site visit and think I might go check out the spa at Dreams and see what they offer. Do you think they'd do a trial run for me? Did most of you get a trial run done in Cabo before your wedding?

Here's what I am thinking: Very natural make-up with paechy/orange undertones. Warm colors, bronzes work best for me. Hair will have extensions and be pinned loosley
