The make-up artist and hair stylists from Suzanne Morel were incredible. I gave them a photo of Uma Thurman's hair from In Style and they replicated it perfectly. They were fun to be around on the day of the wedding, totally professional, and 100% there to make sure that everything was perfect. I highly recommend them - so easy to work with. They do take quite a long time, so make sure to start early on the day.

It seems as her prices are very high $110 for updo andthat's withoutthe trial and another $65 fr the trial?? it just seems kinda a lot so hair and makeup would end up coming to $400..does that seem right?

Yeah, its definitely not cheap Edyta. If you look towards the bottom of the weddings page you will see where they offer packages...#3 is full updo & makeup for $180. If you decide to the the trial, then tack on another 165. I'm just realizing that I really don't want to have to worry about doing my own hair/makeup & that I want to look FANTASTIc! So, i'm willing to pay a professional to do it.

I totally agree with you, I aswell wat to look amazing and dont mind paying a professional but there is always that insecurity what if they do a horrible job...it's scary putting ur trust into someone you haven't used before...well i hope it all works out for u...

so how r u plannig on doing ur hair? u said u sent her an example of u wanted..can u post it on here?

I am going for a messy chignon style, much like Rebecca's. I actually used her hair as an example as well as one other. I have to pull it off my work email & will post :)

I came across a few more styles that I like. I know my hair won't hold the curl in the 2nd set, but I love, and if your hair will hold curl, well you might like it.

FI asked me last night what we were talking about on the board, and when I said hair - his only comments was "all up is not good" - so apparently, that is off the table for me as an option.... I really wanted up. O'well.

Wow, those are beautiful hair styles! yah, mine would hold that for maybe 5 minutes before falling apart!

And, whoa, way to get some unexpected input from your honey on your hairstyle!! I'm not sure what my FI pictures, but I know he always comments when I wear it up, so I'm feeling ok about my hair thoughts.

I knew that's what his feeling would be, but I was going to try and not feel guilty about doing it anyway. He feels that all girls/women/ladies should have hair to the middle of their back, should be dark brown, and well curly. He's very strange.

I'm sure that your FI will love your hair up.

Yes, I'm none of those things. It's shoulder lenght right now, I usually wear it a little shorter than that. It's a light brown color with highlights, and it's very straight unless I scrunch the heck out of it. I swear he still lives in the early 90's when everybody had the Julia Roberts' "pretty woman hair".

Very interesting Stephanie! My FI's pretty easy to impress...he always says I'm the most femenine woman he's ever been with! Which is interesting to me, cuz I definitely dress for work & going out & stuff, but I'm also a total sweats girl at home. I'm sweaty & stinky half the time from working out too. I guess I should thank his ex-wife for setting th bar low!!!
