We are getting married at Moon Palace June 20th then heading 30 minutes south to Secrets Capri in the Riviera Maya on the 21st. (We wanted to avoid getting on another plane between the wedding and HM) I haven't been able to find anything about Secrets on here so I was going to see if anyone had ever been or known anyone who has! I hope this will be the perfect honeymoon spot for us!

Hello,
Our TA suggested Secrets Capri. So this past February we went to visit for four days. We LOVED it. We were bothwas so impressed it was beutiful and relaxing. The staff was so helpful, they never told you no. The food was awesome, my FI even ordered a Hamburger from room service (it's 24 hours roomservice) just to make sure that if my dad didn't want to do dinner at any of the other five resturants he could at least eat a good hamburger that he liked.
So we are getting married at Secrets Capri on 2/9/09. You can see the reviews on Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor if you want to and type in secrets capri.

I was there about a year and a half ago and it was fantastic-felt like a boutique all inclusive. It was a property that focused on service, fine dining and romance. The property is midsize to small which gives it a nice intimate atmosphere. At night they had a guitarist in the lobby playing Mexican love songs while people had their pre dinner drinks and then a saxophonist set up near the beach providing live music for dinner.
Be careful channel surfing as well..ahem....you'll find some adult entertainment.

We are debating having the honeymoon at Secrets Capri as well... It is on the list of places... great things on trip advisor, not that I should follow that, people complain a lot about random things...
