I need some feedback from my fellow BDW pals.
I don’t know what to order for my photo package? I have a $350 credit to use and I already got the digital negatives so I can print whatever I want.
Did anyone get one of their wedding photos mounted? How do you display your wedding photos in your home?
Looking for some ideas, brain storming I guess.

mel, we registered at pottery barn basically just for the gallery frames, so that we can have 5x7 and 8x10 shots framed to hang on our walls. the gallery frames go on sale every so often so theyre like $25 or less depending on the size of the frame. you could use your credit to have some photos printed and then hang them on the wall in gallery frames... in my post about our new place, theres a photo of my living room that shows a few gallery frames hanging on the wall in our living room that have photos i shot in italy in them.
what about using your print credit to have nice quality prints for your parents?
do you have a list of choices from the photog?

Thanks for the ideas. i checked out your house pictures and it looks awesome. You have good taste.
Our parents already got their pictures printed and they also are getting photobooks. Maybe I'll just order an assortment. I'm so torn though.

We just finished putting up our photos at home. I did one arrangement in the living room with my favorites and then 2 areas in the bedroom with my 3 favorite TTD photos and my underwear shot.
We used our photo credit to order our Welcome dinner photos.
I don't know if you've had things printed, but I had to reprint several photos because they were very dark. (I opened them up in photoshop first) and the one of us jumping, Michael Wachniak (photographer on BDW) opened for me.
I found enlargements on Mpix to be very reasonable so maybe order something you can't get from there?

hmm..... does your photographer have a list of options for you to use up your credit? or is it strictly prints only?

I have options of prints or 2 mounted options; either 16x20 or 20x24

Do you think 16X20 is too big | Depends on your wall.. I would tape together some paper that size and tape it to the wall.. that will give you a good idea. Our large photo is 10x13 but has a large matting and then different size photos around it.

Since you girls had Robin photograph your weddings, do you have any picture recommendations that you think she missed? Or do you think she covered everything well? She is photographing mine in May.

i agree with angela, tape a piece of paper that big to your wall to see how it looks. if its too big, get extra prints.... sucks you have so much of a print credit that you dont necessarily need.... can you get a refund or no?
