Hey ladies,
I am desperately trying to lock down a photographer but the $5500 plus bill that comes with them, is giving me anxiety. Please help.
If you had a photographer you loved in PV that was $5500 or under, please help. I would love your input before I spend the money without any feedback from you, the ones I trust the most to be honest.
Here is what I am looking for:
All day coverage day of
Night before coverage
trashing of the dress
High resolution CD of all photos
Photo enhancing
(am I asking for too much for that price?)
Any advise..... Cheers

I used Elizabeth Lloyd. I think you could all that from her in under $5500. I can't say if the pictures were great though. I have yet to see one since the wedding happened last week. She has a beautiful portfolio though.

Hi,
For that price, I think you could definitely find someone great. I think it is reasonable to ask for complete day of coverage, and trash the dress session, and a disk of images. Coverage the day before might be asking for a little bit too much. Could you use photos from friends for the day before?

IMO spending money on your photographer is one of the most important budget decisions you have to make. I have seen weddings that were beautifully set up, but they didn't hire a good photographer and IMO their pictures didn't capture how great the wedding was.
I know prices for photography goes up all the time, but remember it's the memorys that last a life time, and it's worth it in the end to spend a little more money then you planned.

you arent asking too much at all. there are a ton of photographers that could make that happen for you. you just gotta do some searching :)

Try Jay Reilly, I am flying him into PV and he was willing to work with us on price. Plus, his work is stunning :)

So sorry for the delayed response. I went with J. Cogliandro "Joe". He is out of Houston and does amazing work. He also does 4 full days of coverage.
We are so excited to have him.
