I think something to consider is how your post may come across. Sometimes someone might not mean anything rude or offensive by their comment, but because this is the internet and we can't judge the tone, it's hard to tell exactly how you may mean the statement. It really is easy to misunderstand one's intent when reading a post on the internet. But all in all, I think we have an excellent group of people here! :)

Great Post!! Thank you! Ok I had to post when I read this statement...
"I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is a difference between "constructive criticism" (e.g. "I think your dress would look better if you didn't wear the hot pink sash") vs. "rudeness" (e.g. "Really your getting married at "XYZ resort? I hate that place, they have cookie cutter weddings and are basically a wedding factory"
I so wore a hot pink sash!!  I think it is so funny that you said that!! i did not take any offense but had to comment. (does it really look bad?) It was just really ironic! I am a very sarcastic person but am very careful about what i write because facial expressions can give it away in person.
I love this forum and think everyone on here has all best intentions. i don't know what i would have done without it. Again thanks for the post!!
