My mom is a junior high teacher. I called her the other day & she was "making flower pens." She sent me a picture so I knew what she was talking about. She gave a bouquet of these to another teacher as a thank you.
They are pens with fake flowers taped on using green florest tape. She said they are good because they keep kids from stealing your pens. They can't pretend like they didn't realize what they were doing.
I thought the teachers would be interested in this. It would also be a cute gift for a kid to give their teacher.  |

cute idea!
is there to booger-free them? i don't have to worry about my kids stealing my pens, as they still write in pencil, but everything they borrow comes back germy and probably covered in boogers.  | |

A metal pen would be more sanitary. Germs don't like living on metal.

I'm a teacher, and I've used these at school. They were also used (except small shells hot-glued to the top) for my guest book pages at my AHR!!!!
