Dreams Cancun reception location pics

I requested some pics from Claudia the wedding coordinator at dreams about reception locations, here are some of what she sent me. I really love the beach reception idea, but I'm not sure how it will be once it starts to get dark, I'll have to think this through.

Those are great, I love the one long table that's what Im planning on doing for my reception but the beach ones are awesome 2...love the blue ribbon ones

I love the blue ribbon one's too, that was one of my choices for wedding colors, but I ended up going with a fuschia color. The long table is nice too so that everyone can sit together

The only reason I went with the long table is because I have a small grop approx.16 guests so it would kinda look stupid if I did 2 round tables

Great pictures! I do like thelong table idea....you're still outside but it looks protected and looks like they'd probably have lights for when it gets dark. The beach reception is nice too - they must have some ideas for what do do after dark if you're on the beach. Thanks for sharing

Awesome pictures. That would be hard to pick. I like both the outside sites. Probably definitly not the inside site though. The only time I want to be inside while I'm in Mexico is when I'm snoozing.

I agree Jackie, I didn't like the inside one's either, I'm leaning towards the beach idea, but we'll see, there is so much to decide!

Either one of the outside sites is going to be gorgeous. I cant wait till a couple of us RM/Cancun brides start having our weddings. I cant wait to see everyones pictures and read the reviews.

i have a bride scheduled for a may wedding at dreams cancun. she is going for her site visit in less than 2 weeks so she said she would come back with a bunch of pics, etc.

I agree - the outdoor sights look gorgeous. I don't liek th indoor ones so much as I feel that you miss out on the amazing location. The intereior of large hotels always look so similar.

What about tiki torches, lots of candles for outside?

You can ask also about chinese lanterns though this is probably a lot more expsive (though lovely).

My only conern about a reception on the sand is dancing - woudl it be hard to dance with no actualy floor below you? Can tjhey lay down a dancefloor area? That I think would be the best option.
