Does anyone know how long it's taking to get your marriage license once you get married there? I've heard up to 3 months, but I'm really hoping it's not that long. I want to get this name change thing going ASAP after the wedding

Hey there,
A friend of mine got married last year in September and didn't get her marriage license until December. As well at least one other person I know didn't get their document until about 3 months after the wedding. I'd suggest asking your Sandals wedding coordinator, but realistically plan for waiting at least 3 months.
J.

I'll doublecheck with my WC, but 3 months does seem to be the norm. Thanks!

I heard somewhere that there was an expodited certificate option that takes between 4-6 weeks instead of 10-12. I know it costs more. You should ask your WC.
