most songs by Elvis Crespo are great like Suavemente and Tu Sonrisa.

Don Omar is a great artist too, he does Pobre Diabla and Dale Don Dale.

Daddy Yankee is another excellent artist that has good songs like Gasolina and Cuentame

trick Daddy has a song...Let's go (not really salsa but I love it lol)

I find if you search for Reggaeton music as opposed to latin music you'll get more of the newer age stuff that gets people off their seats.

Hope this helps! :)

I went to Amazon.com and you can actually hear the samples from a lot of Latin music.

I have my Sirius radio stuck on "Rumba" channel 92. It has a full mix of latin songs; the announcer speaks Spanish and all the commercials are in spanish!
For a mellow/rock spanish song, my fav is Santana - Oye Como Va. (I'm sure you can faster versions of it.)
