 | Napa Valley Honeymoon? Does anyone have any recomendations for places to Honeymoon in Napa Valley?
We just decided that after we get back from our wedding in Cabo we want to do something in the states by ourselves. I have always wanted to go wine tasting in Napa so I think thats what we are going to do. We will probably stay 4 days and I want to go sightseeing in San Fran one day and spend the rest of the time in Napa. I haven't researched places to stay yet but I figured someone here might have had a great experience at a B&B or hotel in Napa and could give me some pointers!
Thanks :)

 | Re: Napa Valley Honeymoon? It really depends on what route you want to go. There are a ton of places to stay. I think in Napa the top of the line is considered Auberge de Soliel. It's where Christina Aguilera got married and it's SUPER expensive, but beautiful!!! It's located in Rutherford which has some AMAZING vineyards (Peju, Cakebread, Grigch Hills) http://www.aubergedusoleil.com/
Kenwood Inn is in Sonoma and was recently ranked as one of the most romantic hotels in the US. It has a beautiful grounds and amazing spa too. A few wineries in Sonoma include Gloria Ferrer, Domaine Carneros, Artesa... http://www.kenwoodinn.com/
The thing about Napa is that each different area has so many wineries so in four days it might be best to concentrate on one or two areas. We are really lucky to live so close to Napa and we've had a chance to visit a lot although it's been a while. i have a list of smaller B&B's that we have stayed before and a pretty detailed list of wineries (Napa, St. Helena, Rutherford, Sonoma) so if you want more info, PM me and I can send you a more extensive list! |

 | Re: Napa Valley Honeymoon? there are tons of B&B's in Napa, make sure you rent a car because it's a little over an hour to SF. I posted in the nor cal section about a lot of different wineries we visited during our wedding.

 | Re: Napa Valley Honeymoon? I love the Beazley House B&B(my sis works there). Beazley House Bed & Breakfast Inn-California's first Napa Valley Bed & Breakfast
They are the first B&B in Napa and they are the BEST! They can guide you when it comes to which wineries you should visit depending on what you are looking for. Also, they can help you with dinner reservations and other things to do. I finally went on the Napa Valley Wine Train last summer and it was amazing, I would highly recommend it for the food and the experience. Napa Valley Wine Train -- The official website of the Napa Valley Wine Train -- Home Page
I hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Napa!
