So, FI and I contacted Stewart Thomas from Palmstone in November 2007 to commission a custom wedding certificate. We went back and forth over email to discuss the details, pricing, etc. We came to terms on everything the first week of January 2008 and Mr. Thomas requested a $100 deposit with the balance of $400 to $500 due upon completion. I paid him the $100 deposit through PayPal.
I did not hear from him for a month and thought it was odd so I reached out by email and he responded saying that he was really busy and would send us back a draft to review.
That was the last time I heard from him (2 months ago!). I have reached out to him at both of his email addresses and phone number and gotten absolutely no response!
So, he basically took our deposit and won't return our calls or emails.
I know that there are not a ton of brides on this forum who are getting marriage certificates but I figured I would post this just in case and also so that when someone else google searches him, they get a fair warning.
What a JERK!

You should write a letter to the BBB AND the city's Attorney General, AND CC him on the letter (mail a copy to him too).

yeah, you should dispute the charge with paypal. they kick out sellers who do stuff like this so they cant use paypal anymore if enough people complain
