Any Philly brides in need of BD photos?

A friend of mine is a photographer and used to take BD photos. She is trying to get back into it and is trying to get a group together to shoot in the first week of May. She will be scheduling 2 hours for each bride over the course of two days (May 5 & 6) at Loews Hotel. This would include hair and make-up, as well as outfit changes for whatever you bring with you. Post in this thread if you are interested or PM me if you want. I am not going to post the price, cuz I didn't ask her if that was ok, but I would def tell anyone that asks individually.

In case anyone else is interested, the photog will need to finalize the count pretty soon... For those that PM'd me for info, I am still waiting for her to get back to me with some sample photos, but I've been home sick for a few days, so haven't had time to chase her down....

I am going to do it now, since I have someone who I feel comfortable with, I think I should be ok. Perhaps I just won't eat anything until the first week of May or so :-P

 

April 13th! How exciting! that is my bridal shower day, but I can't wait to see how it goes.

 

Personal question here, but how did you pick the clothes that you will wear? I am so stumped on that!

That's so great that you decided to do it. Matt will be so shocked.

I've just been picking things up the past few months. I've gone back and looked at some of the BD shots that the girls here did and got outfit inspiration from them. I bought a cute baby doll thing from VS b/c I saw it on here (Alyssa got it from her Secret Cupid I think). I bought those "Sexy Bride" panties at VS too. Other than that, just a few things from Kohls and Macy's. I still need to buy more I think.
One thing that I'm clueless about...what about shoes?!? Am I supposed to wear heels? When I saw Jen's (NYJen) pics, I realized that I never thought about shoes.
I'm scheduling my bikini wax for next weekend so I'll have time to heal before the 13th...lol!

I would get some sexy shoes if I were you. Those pics of Jen's legs on the wall with the red shoes are prob my fave. Plus if you are as broke as I am right now, you can do what I probably will, which is buy some shoes and return them, cuz it isn't like you are going to be walking anywhere in them! Cheap, I know, but I can't afford it now!!

 

Guess I will have to start hitting up some lingerie shops. I think I might have to hit the tanning bed first though. Gross.

I'm getting mine taken on March 30th probably at the Morris House Hotel (still working that out with them for an hourly rate).

Kelly, holy shilz, then your's are in little more then a week! Good luck! Be sure to let us know how they go. I get butterflies just thinking about getting my picture taken, let alone getting it taken while trying ot be sexy!

I know, I'm so nervous. But I'm friends with the photographer so hopefully that helps. I don't even have all of my 'outfits' yet. I know VS has a cute new PINK collection. I saw these boyshorts in their catalog that had cute sayings on them. I'm going to swing by their store tonight probably.

I almost wish the photog could pick out my warbrobe. Cuz that is seriously stressing me out. What to wear. Maybe I will take Matt shopping with me this weekend and try on some sexy lingerie for him and he will just think that he hit the jackpot! Not that I am planning BD photos.. Hmmmmm, perhaps I will start tanning today then!
