vb Plaza options

I was looking at my user CP and was going into each area that says to edit. This is what was showing: I really don't understand what all of this is for or how to answer them, can anyone help me?

I'll try to help you out here.
Basically, you have the option to hide things that appear when you make a post in a thread, or show them.

For instance, when you look under a thread for which you posted something, you'll see all these things under your name. Right under where it says karma, you'll notice some people have icons. Those are gifts & ribbons. You can hide those from appearing everytime you post, or show them. Same thing with the points. When you post, do you want others to see your points? If not, hide them. If that doesn't bother you, show them.

Do not receive a PM upon receiving a new Gift?: YesNo
Do not receive a PM upon receiving a new Ribbon?: YesNo
When you receive a PM, you get notified. When someone else sends you a gift or a ribbon, you'll usually receive a PM to notify you that someone has sent it. Do you want to be notified that you received a gift of ribbon? If so, then you would select no.
