we are doing one but not through a "registry business" or anything. we have set amounts to help pay for our trip, for instance we have an excursin that is $100 for us to do. so we have it set up so that if 4 people put in $25 it would be paid for, etc. and the prices vary on specific items such as the air and hotel costs.

we set it up through our travel agent at no extra cost to us. she was happy to help.
