Wedding Nightmares!

So I have had my fair share of wedding nightmares already, so I thought it would be fun to see if anyone else has had horrible horrible dreams about their wedding! Here are a couple of mine:

Last week

I had a dream that it was my wedding day and NOTHING WENT RIGHT!! My flowers were completely the wrong color and they fell apart before I could even carry them down the aisle. One of the groomsmen didn't show up. My dress was torn all over. My hair was a mess. My veil wouldn't stay in. Everyone walked down the aisle in the wrong order! I mean seriously, you name it and it went wrong in my wedding. And the whole time, I was thinking to myself, "I know this is just a dream, but MAKE SURE you tell the coordinator that you want "this & that" THIS WAY!! It was nuts and I was sweating when I woke up.

Last night!

I dreamt that it was the day before the wedding and I didn't have shoes! I am getting married at a park, so I will be wearing shoes. Well my sister (and MOH) wouldn't go with me to get some and kept telling me that I shouldn't wait until the last minute for this stuff. Then on top of all of that...I was 8 months pregnant and going into labor!!

So these are my most recent nightmares...share yours!!

dont you just hate dreams like that. they seem so real and you wake up stressed out and not sure if it really happend. i used to have dreams about work like that when i was bartending..

just remember it was just a dream and that no matter what happens you are getting maried in a wonderful place (shot a wedding in la jolla on the bluffs there and the wedding went perfectly). just know that little things will snag you up on your day but dont let it get to you. :) you'll be there with the one oyu love most surrounded by friends and fmaily who love you and it will be awesome :)

i was even at a wedding wehre during the reception a gigantic brawl broke up and the cops had to show up and have someone arrested... at the time it was a little crazy but now they just look back at it and laugh :)

  • 3 weeks later...

I had the most random dream last night!

My FI and I were at his ex-wife's house and her fiance said something rude to my man and I lost it. I told him he was f'ing crazy, etc. Then we left their house and the next thing I know I am in my wedding dress waiting for my FI. Then there is a big earthquake and I see all these people get smashed by buildings. I am still in my wedding dress and thinking let's get this show on the road. All of a sudden some of my guests (who I have no idea who they are) bring dead people on gurneys into the ceremony. WTF!!!

I then woke up. SO weird!

I have a recurring dream that my FMIL starts whinging and generally being her lovely self when I'm walking down the aisle, I stop smack her one right in the mouth, and then carry on walking down the aisle lol horrible but true lol

Thing is we haven't told her yet because we are waiting until its all booked so that she cant mix things up lol I think it's the dread of her finding out lol

So trust me your wedding will be fine, however I think mine might be a bit like the one jean-marcus went to ha ha ha

ahhahaha! You know I believe Frued interpts that dream to mean a fear of being caught mastorbating.....lol!smile41.gif

I have had the wedding nightmares as well the best one is....
It's the night before my wedding and we're some party and it's about 11 pm and someones asks me if we're ready for the wedding? And suddenly it dawns on me that "Shit.....I don't have anything to wear tomorrow!!!!!" Tim's says oh we'll just go to the bridal shop around the corner......and I really can't make out the rest....

BUT!!!! Unrelated but totally disgusting and I think really funny....I kept having these dreams that I was peeing in different bathrooms and then one where I couldn't find a bathroom....I suddenly woke up because I had to pee.....and realized..............I Fucking PEED my bed! Oh yeah I had to get Tim out of bed a 4 am to change the sheets.....good thing I bought that special "scam" liner that's waterproof when we bought our new mattress.....ahahahahaha!oops.gif

Oh my gosh...that is funny! I am sorry that happened to you, but I have had the same thing happen to me!

Jean-Marcus...I ALWAYS have dreams about my teeth falling out! I don't think it means that I am afraid I will get caught masturbating (ha!), but I have heard that it means that you are a perfectionist and are worried about how others see/perceive you...which it totallly fitting for me...A TOTAL PERFECTIONIST! (Although my FI has really toned me down because he tells me when I am being OCD!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
