This is a very good idea. I am new to this forum. My wedding day is October 11, 2008 at Dreams Cancun. I am still kind of lost when trying to get points to open pictures. I believe that there is some girls that have similar concerns. This forum is awesome.

I selected Dreams Cancun because the gazebo is so unique. I need to go for my site visit to the hotel. I want to go when there is an actual wedding. Thanks for all the help you can provide.

Your added girls thanks for replying to the post :)

Heres what us Dreams Cabo brides did besides just going to that specific thread to ask questions which is great. We also posted our list of specific things each of us were having or doing or who we were hiring. It really helps to get ideas or learn about vendors.

Heres an example.
Here are some of my details:

Wedding date : June 14, 2008
Ceremony: On the Beach 6:30
Reception: Oceana Terrace 7:00-10:30pm
Food: Not quite sure on this one. Tried the Beef Tenderloin and loved it....need another one. Plus have the cheese and Spinach ravioli for some of my guests.
Cake: Individual Tres leche cakes for the guests and one small one for us (just for picture purposes)
Flowers: Thinking about coral colored roses or a bouquet of white roses and orchids with a teal ribbon.
DJ: Using our Ipod and renting speakers from Dreams.
Hair and Makeup: I want to use Suzanne Morale but depends on how many other people want to get their hair does as well.
Wedding Cordinator: Yesica at Dreams
Phontographer: Juan Carlos Tapia

Some stuff Ive done allready or lately,
Sent the STD's (boarding pass)
Started OOT bags
Took engagment photos at Dreams
Website for Travel & Hotel
Lined up Room Block (Thanks to Tammy)

DIY stuff I will want to do
formal invitations
Picture Lumineers with our pictures, family, and friends
starfish place cards

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
