I'm not sure if there is a thread of this anywhere, but I'm interested too hear what all you gals have chosen or had for your wedding colors. I'm undecided and looking for good color scheme ideas.
I'm leanning towards a very strong/vibrant coral with some browns and ivorys....but am not sure.

We're doing Aqua with coral/light greens.. I got the idea from one of wedding mags.
The Coral with browns/ivorys sounds very pretty together.

Our colors are Green (like an Olive green but just a touch lighter) and a light ivory.

for the ceremony i wantd subdued colors...for the reception i wanted more of a pop...orange and red roses, etc.

I am thinking about pink and orange. When we were down in Cabo I loved the way the bright bogan villa (sp?) flowers looked next to the white sand and blue sea. Although I don't really like those colors (and never together) in everyday life. I think the bright colors make it look more festive and Mexico-like!

I know what you mean, I am not a big coral fan but for some reason I just think it would be a great color for Mexico.

We are still debating colors, but currently I am leaning toward trying to pull off the "white wedding" look. I have found invitations that i want to make in a shimmery white/ivory, I want white bag luminarias, and leaning toward white roses and orchids with beige table linens, with silver and black accents. Again, I'm still not sure what I want in terms of color, but we know we definitely want more "elegant" decor than "party". We may choose 1 accent color for the reception, probably red or green, if we do anything different.
