Yes, please let us know. I'm considering that place as well. Hopefull you'll have a picture or two for us as well . My main question is about the beach and can you actually swim in it as an adult. Have fun!

Hello Kcantrell...

As I've said... the resort is beautiful. The beach there is HUGE AND FLAT... HOWEVER... IF MOST OF YOUR TIME IS GOING TO BE SPENT IN THE OCEAN (THE GULF OF MEXICO...) YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED. i WOULD SUGGEST THE SWIM UP BAR AT THE AMAZING POOL!!

... No, the Cabo Azul is not "all inclusive".

Hi,

I just had a meting at Cabo Azul with Sergio, he's a great person, with over 10 years experience in the wedding business in Cabo, he knows what he's doing! It was my first visit and I'm very impressed, the hotel is just beautiful, although it's still under construction part of it, the part that is finished is just amazing, very different from the rest of the hotels in Cabo, a refreshing concept from what I'm used to down here, in terms of photo, it has some beautiful features and the architecture is just fab! Very spacious not only the public areas, but the rooms and in general. The concept of the open chapel is great, large and with a gorgeous view overlooking the gorgeous pool area and beach or the wide and generous beach, you cannot miss! It has a fantastic roof terrace ideal for cocktails, again, overlooking the pool/beach area.

Totally recommended.

Curious to see when the construction is set to be complete? I have emailed Sergio about this and am just waiting for a response. I will be seeing this property this weekend on Saturday so I will be able to get a better sense of how things will run for a wedding function. Do you have any clue as to whether or not all of the facilities will be up and running by October?

He mentioned that by May most external work will be "finished" with construction going on just in the interiors, that's why they only book weddings after May, but don't take my word, wait for him to reply.

Hi fellow Cabo peeps!

I am really excited about Cabo Azul. Sergio is great - although we've only chatted through email and phone! I just started making arrangements with him in December and it's been hassle-free. He is very prompt in answering AND explaning my millions-of-questions; which makes me feel really comfortable and reassured.

Can anyone give me any tips you may have already received from Sergio or any other brides interested in Cabo Azul? I would appreciate any and all tips. Thanks a bunch!

I am going tomorrow for a site visit for our wedding in November and we are coming from the east coast so -- yes it is a pain in the butt to get everyone over to Cabo; however I think the destination speaks for itself. I will give feedback once I return on Monday night.

Sergio so far has been a pleasure to work with. I am a corporate event planner so I know good quality work when I am working with someone like this. He is very proacative and is quick to get the responses you need. I'll see how everything goes this weekend. I found out that construction is set to be complete with facilities open by October 2008!

.... When Sergio shows you the chapel make sure to ask him about Gary's "group shot"...
