Default Funny story about the Hilton

Ok, so most of you know all my drama's with the Hilton. 5 months ago, when Emeline was still there, she and I were discussing linens and when I mentioned I liked the dark blue table clothes, she asked if I wanted them put aside for my wedding. I said, "Yes." Well, today, in conversations with the new Hilton WC, she proceeds to tell me that there will be an $85 charge to rent EACH table cloth. Um, I don't think so. I forwarded her the email that Emeline and I exchanged showing that there was never a mention of a rental fee for these linens so I wasn't paying it. The new WC then replied and apologized for the misunderstanding and agreed that there would be no charge.

So, (just to be a bitch) I wrote back and said, "Thank you. I was starting to wonder if you were going to charge my guests to use the restrooms too."

I want them to know I'm annoyed with all the "nickel and dime"ing. They haven't given me one thing to thank me for the business. Instead they keep pulling stunts like this. So frustrating!!!

Are they outta their minds!?!?! How many people pay that much for a table cloth? Hell, you could buy them all and ship them down overnight and it would probably be cheaper. idiots!

I couldn't agree more! When I wrote my WC to tell her that I was considering moving my reception offsite because of the crazy prices she was quoting me for the simplest things, and she tried to deter me by saying, "I wouldn't suggest offsite for a restaurant, trust me! I go to Jamaica all the time. PLEASE do not travel without a tour guide!! The taxi fairs are pretty costly as well & they can smell a tourist from the airport."

I'm still trying to figure out how to get her told on that one! LOL!!
