 |  CA legal beach wedding?
Since we decided to change our ceremony location from the beach to the gazebo for our Mexico wedding, I thought it would be nice to have our legal ceremony in CA. We want it to just be us, and have the ceremony on the beach. I'd like to do it right before we leave for our Mexico wedding, and my FI really likes Catalina Island. I have been to CA multiple times, but never there. Does anyone know about beach weddings there, or any other location suggestions for a semi-elopement? We would probably have to fly to CA the weekend of November 1-2 since we'll be flying into Mexico on Nov. 4. |

I like near LA, if you just google: wedding officiants in Los Angeles or the area you will be at a bunch pop up.... GOOD LUCK!

Well, near LA, I would do Manhattan Beach or Newport Beach...maybe even Redondo Beach or Hunntington Beach. I know San Diego is beautiful too but I'm not too familiar with thier beaches. You asked also what would be legal in LA....When I was looking into this it looked like some officiants would do everything for you and you wouldn't even have to go to the court house. So I think they are all different, but I see no legal problems with getting married on the beach as long as your officient does everything correct....

Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica is also an option, you can get marry on the beach then lunch/dinner there. | |

You might try just up the road 90 min in Santa Barbara, Very romantic! Tons of hidden beaches or easy access ones too. No legal issues about the ceremony on the beach. Let me know if you want beach suggestions. Good luck! |
