I know there are many threads on Mariachi Bands. Maye quoted me $320 for an hour. Granted there are eight of them! Does there have to be eight? Has anyone had a mariachi band with only three or four guys in Cabo? I wanted to hire one for the welcome party to get everyone in the mood but that seems really expensive! Anyone booked a mariachi band on their own and had better luck?

did you see the thread yesterday by angela about mariachi internacional los cabos?
she contacted them on her own, and they quoted her $150/hour! she also posted their contact info.

Actually, that's a pretty good price. I was quoted a lot more than that for the same thing. And yes, I just sent my WC an email about it. Thanks for the heads up.

i'd try searching in the Cabo area for mariachi - there are so many people who have hired them and shared their prices and experiences!

For mine there were 3 of them for $450 an hour... I couldn't find anything else so there you go. I had to take it or leave it.

Hey Nicole - do you have the name of the company that Maya is recommending? My WC insists that she's never heard of such low prices and said that if this is in fact the case, she would like to add them to her vendor list. I too would like to know so I can contact them directly. In the mean time, I also contacted Mariachiloscabos.com. Thanks for your help!

Hey Jen! Are you getting so excited? Our wedding will be here before we know it. I'll email Maye and get the name of who she hires. :) I guess the price is reasonable? I guess in the grand scheme of things, what's another $350? My FI would die if he heard that...

Just getting a little tired of all the hand holding I've been doing for my guests (Did you make your hotel reservations? Did you file for your passport? etc.) One minute someone is coming, the next minute they have to back out . . . then back in . . . then back out. Come already people, get it together!!!!
