Default Which US Territory to get married?

Ladies,
I am just starting the planning.
So far we know that we want to elope on the beach by ourselves. We will later have a party at home/reception for friends and family.
But, we are not sure where to get married.
Feedback on Puerto Rico, St Thomas, and St John would be appreciated.
I have read through some of the threads. I was hoping that some of the world travelers around here (that have been to PR and USVI) could sort of compare the two as we have not been to either.
Thanks!
GiGi

I haven't been to either, but have you checked out tripadvisor.com yet?

From what I know about the USVI I would go there. It sounds a little more exotic and with there only being the two of you, cost might not be as much of a factor.

I have been to all 3 places and St John was by far my favorite. The others are great but I think they are all different. What kind of place are you looking for? Quite beautiful beaches (St John) or old world meets new world (PR)?

St John is what I pick! It is so incredibly beautiful! St Thomas is pretty too but if it is just the two of you, I would go to St. John. You will not be disappointed!

Can't go wrong with STT or STJ!
Both are wonderful! You can choose to have your own villa and all the privacy you choose, to hotel with extra amenities! Good Luck with your choice and CONGRATS!

I have family in Puerto Rico, have stayed in St John several times, and own a rental villa in St. Thomas. All 3 islands can provide you with the wedding of your dreams. St John has pristine beaches and we consider it to be the more layed back of the islands. St Thomas, can provide you with a bit more activities, a greater selection for fine dinning (my favorite subject!) and activities. Puerto Rico is fun!fun! A lot more night life - but I would not choose it for a honeymoon location. Not romantic enough for me.
