Today my ticker says 5 months left! I really can't wait!!! Who else is 5 months (give or take some) away? What have you finished & what do you have left?

I like to get stuff done early so I have finished most of my big projects. Things have been moving along pretty smoothly with much thanks to all the great people on this forum. But, I still feel like I have a lot left to do. Making lists always makes me feel like I have a better grasp on what I need to do. So here is my list.

planned ceremony music- waiting for a friend to record it on piano

booked photographer

started on making cups for OOT bags

made postcards for OOT bags

thank you cards

made photo guestbook

registered for stuff

To do:

make CDs for dance after wedding (collect everyone’s first dance songs)

make fan programs

finish painting cups for OOT bags

Make a “meet the guests” page

Welcome letter

Bags for OOT gifts (looking for cheap Mexican market bags)

Get everyone to book their trip

Plan what adventures we will go on & organize group trips

Book charter fishing

Get dress hemmed

Get my grandma’s passport problems taken care of

Finish making bridesmaid gifts (even though I’m not having bridesmaids)

Hey Morgan!

I have months to go too! I don't think I'm freaking out too badly! Though I do have my moments. I mean 5 months and 4 minutes from right now I will be getting married! AHHHH!

I think most of the wedding stuff itself is done. THe boys still need to buy their suits and I have one MOH who still needs to order her dress.

I'm working on finalizing the on-site private reception this week. Next week's big focus will be the AHR.

What are flower cones? Are they for throwing the petals? That reminded me I need to get petals still. I haven't figured out how to wrap them up yet.

I also haven't thought about getting a cake topper. Maybe I should...hmmm.

Also, what is your mexican guitar CD? I'm working on my music options for stuff to play before the ceremony. I also need to make some backup music for the ceremony incase my friend doesn't have time to record the piano music.

Yes, I know the section in target. I'll check it out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
