You're very welcome. If you are having tons of people coming I would go with saving $$$ on the bags and spend that money somewhere else. Who knows if they will ever use the bags again = ) I'm trying to stay at $2 a bag.

CHeck this site out: R-Bag Canvas Tote, Custom Printed Canvas Tote. As low as $3.47, 12145
They are on sale for $3.50 each and they will print them. All cotton canvas, natural. There are many other styles as well. They might not have the right color straps but you could do a logo to incorporate all of your colors.

Ok, I've been searching and then remembered, I have a company with whom I purchase all of my business promotinal items! DUH! They are wonderful to work with and often can get around minimums, etc. PM me if you want her contact information and my name for referral.

But from all I found, the cotton (duck canvas) ones with contrast straps are more expensive, because cotton's more expensive. (The polyester ones did have white contrasted with navy blue, royal blue, black, or red, I believe...) Benefit to the polyester with PVC backing is that they're waterproof. That's really the only benefit I can think of...
*sigh* And from everything I could find, the "teacher's tote" was synthetic too, as I saw the exact same bag listed on another website that gave more details on the fabric.
If you happen to find good ones, please do post the link! I'm still looking, as I won't be ready to buy until I know exactly how many I need. =) Don't know whether I'm going to put anything on them at all, except perhaps a heat-transfer of the turtle symbol that has accompanied some of our save-the-dates and address labels. We want our guests to remember us when they use the bags, but don't want our names plastered all over them. We're self-conscious like that. |

lyrebard - we're not putting our names on them either. I was going to do our footprints in sand (which we have on our website), but I wasn't sure if it was going to come out ok, and it was pricey, so now I'm thinking of the palm tree that some girls got from creative montage (it is kind of vintagey looking) in either brown, red, or aqua, and perhaps "Riviera Maya, Mexico May 4, 2008" so that it'll be a memory of their trip and maybe the wedding date, but it won't shout me me me too much. I might do a silly shot glass (my mom is not so happy about that) with the same logo but with our names, since those are supposed to be crazy like that. Regardless, I assume people wil use the bags for groceries, or the gym, or maybe the beach again, so I'm not too worried.

If you're still looking, I just found this one, too. 100% cotton, a number of colors (with white as main color and red/blue/black), and under $4 when you order 24 or more.
And this, but they're $4.17 each.
At this point, I think I'm listing them as much for me, for when I need to buy them in a month or two, LOL.

thanks lyrebard - I won't actually know how many people are coming until a month or two either, I'm just trying to prepare myself too - and maybe avoid more important things, like registering for gifts, finding bridesmaid dresses (at this point, normal dresses at department stores), etc., and distracting myself while I wait for my WC to send me samples of music from bands now that she finally found some bands, and to let me know if my flowers are possible. I turned out to be such a freaking bridey bride!
