Maura, Who is your wedding coordinator at the Westin again? I have Juan. I think he's a banquet coordinator for the Westin for events. I'm not getting married at the Westin, so I got someone different. I don't always get answers from him and other times I do. It's not very consistent. I asked about 10 times to see some light yellow chair ties.

i cant wait to hear your review!!!!! i am dying, my wedding is one month from tomorrow, so i am wanting to hear everything i possibly can right now because im starting in that freak out mode where i am second guessing all my decisions.

and Barrie how was the cake? Did Westin make it for you? Was it what you wanted? I'm worried about my cake.
How did they attach the big blue and white lights? I see some white sticks or something?

The Westin made (or got) the cake and it was fantastic! I sent them a picture of what I wanted and they copied it exactly. We chose chocolate cake with rasberry filling. Everybody loved it. We had them pck it up and they brought it out again at the breakfast the next morning. The lanterns were attached on one side (closer to the hotel)to the wall and then they used poles wrapped in white ribbon to support them on the other side.

I think we will go with the Westin cake then :)
