Has anyone heard of Vallarta Weddings Wedding Coordinators??

Hi everyone...I am new to the forum and so excited to be finding all of this wonderful information. If only I had found this site months ago I would be so much better off. I am wondering if anyone has heard of Vallarta Weddings (Eva & Michael) Wedding Coordinators?

When I was down in PV on my recent site visit I did meet with Priscilla from Prisar Weddings. I've also heard good things from Dazzling Details.

Thanks for the reply. I am using them as my WCs and I am getting nervous since they aren't super quick to respond to my emails. It is so scary to plan a wedding through email.

Where are you getting married? Have you done a site visit? If so did you meet these people in person?

I think sometimes we all have to remember that with having a wedding in Mexico a lot of things are done in "Mexican time". However, if you are spending extra money to hire an outside WC IMO they should respond to your emails within a week or so.

*Edit - I just saw that you are getting married March 1st. That's coming up pretty soon, congrats! I think they should be on the ball by now. How long does it take them to respond to you? Also, when did you sign your contract with them?*

I spoke to Michael with Vallarta Weddings and he seemed helpful at first, but he was very slow in getting back to me. I ended up calling them and getting a response because e-mail was very slow and I never heard anything back.

In the end I decided not to go with them. good luck!

I signed the contract in August and have been very happy until recently. I guess I am just getting worried since it takes a long time for them to respond and I would like to know I have nothing to worry about. They tell me not to worry and they are just super busy with other weddings but since this is my only wedding I want everything to be perfect. There are so many things that are not set in stone yet and planning a wedding over emails is quite scary anyway. I just wondered if anyone had used them in the past so that I could relax a little. I am sure everything will turn out just great...I hope!!

I'm sure everything is on track, but if you're not hearing from them on e-mail, I would definitely try and stalk them on the phone. If not for anything but peace of mind. They just might be less responsive because it's around the holidays - JaimeLynne is right about things moving a little slower in Mexico. It is ESPECIALLY true around Christmas. Doubtful if anything is open down there so even if our WCs are working quickly, they're vendors probably are not.

I used them for my wedding and they were great. I will agree that they do take longer to respond to emails and I had to call them a couple times to go over things. But in the end, everything turned out great. I did notice that I got better responses to my emails as the date approached. When we got to PV we met with Eva and Michael to go over everything. Michael was the only one that was there during the actual wedding day and he worked his butt off. If you have any questions about them let me know, I will be happy to answer them.

Thank you Jessica for letting me know that you used them. I have seen the pics and know they do a great job. I knew that they had done tons of weddings but started to get nervous recently. Did you have your wedding at a resort or villa? I am having mine at a villa and am so excited. One more thing...Who did you use for your caterer?
