MGM Grand, one of the most popular resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, is an expert at grand weddings. With a team of professionals equipped with fantastic venues, seemingly unlimited resources and the experience to pull off a flawless event, MGM Grand is able to host nuptials with ease and style.
The Forever Grand Wedding Chapel has two separate, elegantly appointed venues for ceremonies. The Legacy Chapel is ideal for larger gatherings of up to 55 guests, while the Cherish Chapel is the best choice for intimate events of 25 people or less. Couples also may exchange vows poolside or in the conference center.
After the knots are tied, the resort offers more than 300,000 square feet of versatile space for receptions from 25 to 2,500 guests. Catering is also available for those wishing to celebrate their nuptials in-suite, along with webcam access for loved ones unable to attend the ceremony. MGM Grand's professional wedding planners have a saying: You take care of falling in love, and we'll take care of the rest..
With over five distinct and carefully constructed wedding packages and an array of ceremony and reception venues to choose from, they live by this motto. Most packages include live piano music played on a baby grand, personalized floral arrangements, salon services, professional photography, limousine service to the courthouse for retrieval of the marriage license and videography. Couples can relax and enjoy the moment.
The Chapel's retail store offers everything from garters and unity candles to flower girl baskets and cake toppers. Members of the wedding party and other guests will appreciate The Grand Spa and its 30 treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools. Cristophe, the renowned Beverly Hills salon, is located on-site for wedding day ease. The honeymoon may begin with first-class dining in over 22 restaurants, a show in the Grand Garden Arena or the Hollywood Theater, dancing at Studio 54 and days of playing in the 6.6-acre Grand Pool Complex, including private cabanas. At MGM Grand, the only limit is a couple's imagination.

One of my best friends got married in this Chapel in August. The Chapel was fine, but the staff was super rude (I was in the wedding). Anyhow if you need any further info, please feel free to ask

It's kind of a long story... there was SO much drama at this wedding but the jist of it was:
The rented a terrace suite so that they could do their reception in their room. When they checked in the suite wasn't ready so they put them in an alternate room. They moved all of their stuff to the new (correct) room around 9pm the night before the wedding and somewhere in transit they lost the veil that I had made for her - it was never found, but she spent the morning in tears looking for it. We all spent the morning in a panic because of it. Subsequently we were a little late to getting to the bridal suite for the ceremony (should have been there 30 minutes early and we were there about 15 minutes prior.)
The bride got her bouquet through her package with the hotel, and bought our flowers across the street through the Tropicana. When we got into the suite and she saw her flowers, I think she almost burst out crying right there. Her $115 bouquet was about the size of a large orange in circumfrence - our bouquets were larger than hers. So we sent someone to the room to grab a dozen roses out of one of the arrangements that were up there to add to her flowers. Meanwhile the coordinators were getting totally bitchy with us about holding up the process and let's just say that the insults were flying at them at this time. I know I called one of the coordinators a b-tch for something that she said when I asked for help.
Ultimately her bouquet was fixed, but in the process one of the BMs cut off the MOH's finger tip. The coordinator came in to tell the girls to hurry it up with the flowers and I believe more profanities ensued. The ceremony was fine. Obviously this review is totally subjective. It was one of my best friend's weddings and I wanted the best treatment for her and I don't believe that she got it. She felt ripped off about the flowers, and was totally dissapointed about the veil that never turned up. So that's it. Oh, and she HATED the photos and they don't allow outside photography. Thankfully a good friend of ours is a very talented photographer and he shot a bunch of photos before & after.

I went to wedding at the MGM this past April. Their reception was at Tabu the ultra lounge. I did not see that as an option on the reception list....

I have been trying to decide where we are going to stay for our wedding in Las Vegas in July and the options are between MGM, Mandalay Bay, & Caesar's Palace. I have stayed at the MGM before and really liked it. I don't know that I will have my ceremony there though because it is more than we want to pay.

I'm staying at the Signature at the MGM Grand. It's on the backside of the MGM Grand and they are condos. I found many owners renting them out through craigslist. The pool at the Signature is an outdoor heated pool. Since I'm going in January this was great for us. The rooms all have Jacuzzi tubs and Kitchenettes. The kitchen part was great b/c we are staying the whole week and we want to be able to make breakfast and save money where we can. The rooms run from $80 to $200 per night. We booked an entire week for $850 and my mom got her room for $80 per night.
We are having the wedding at the Little Chapel of the Flowers. The photos are nice and they will broadcast the ceremony live and for weeks after. You can go to the website and look at the ceremony and the photos. There prices are very reasonable. Good Luck!
