Hi PV brides...we did our own invitations and I was so happy with how they turned out. Thought I would share my success with the ladies of the forum!
For the invites - The ribbon on the side is stock art from iStockPhoto. Bought some vector art and changed the colors to what we wanted.
- The Caballeo del Mar I'm especially proud of! I took a picture of the silhouette of the statue that I found online and created the clip art.
- The snowflakes on the greeting card are also from iStockPhoto
It was so fun, and less work in the end than I thought it was going to be. We bought the paper at the Paper Source and printed everything at home. For the outer envelope we used these labels from Martha Stewart, but I modified the fonts so that the names were in script. Ready and Labeled Had the labels printed on red paper and used the sticker machine as suggested (best craft toy I've bought in a loooong time).
In the end, for <$250 (including postage) we had our 95 invitations!!
