Marriage License Requirements

Proof of Age is Required by Hawaii State Law, you must be at least 19 years of age.
(If under the age of 19, please inquire with Wedding Coordinator on licensing details.)
Both must be present with a photo identification.
Blood Tests are not required in the State of Hawaii.
License Fee: $60.00 *Cash payment to Licensing Agent
Cash = US dollars, no personal or travelers checks accepted.

Your Marriage License Appointment will be arranged by your Grand Hyatt Kauai Wedding Coordinator. Please contact the Department of Health at (80 586-4544 or http://www.hawaii.gov/doh to obtain a marriage license application kit.

We stayed here for a couple nights in January. It was an amazing hotel! The pool is the best I have ever been too! It even has a fun waterslide for young and old to enjoy. Anyone looking at getting married or visiting Kauai needs to check out a resturant called "The Beachhouse." It is great food and you won't find a better sunset anywhere. My parents own a condo in Kauai and rent it out sometime so if anyone is planning a trip let me know. It's amazing!

I am getting married at The Beach House restaurant on May 29, 2008. We had dinner there last time we were in Kauai and just fell in love with it. Beautiful location and the best food we found on the island. :-)

The Grand Hyatt is amazing. My uncle owned the resort next to it so we visited the Hyatt all the time. It has a nice beach that isn't too crowded.

My fiancee had won a work trip to the Hyatt and man it was fabulous. I would have loved to have my wedding there however, it is just too far and too expensive for my guests!! But I hope to return for our 1 year anniversary. I have a ton of pictures if anyone is interested in seeing more.
They have a salt water lagoon which is to die for and the Anara spa was marvellous. When you go to the spa make sure you book extra time to hang out around the pool area in the spa it is well worth it and super relaxing and quite. Food was amazing.
If you get a chance to the helicpoter tour it was our hightlight and so well worth. Oh the memories.....
