I am now considering St Thomas... Any suggestions? I wanted an All inclusive for guests, I am visiting there on a cruise in a month and should attempt to see a resort if possible, but will only have a few hours....

for cruises Angela is a specialist. go to www.stthomasweddingpackages and see what she has to offer. Let me know what you think she is my WC and she is wonderful.

I feel like a vendor but she and I have be talking for almost a year about my wedding day.

So it seems that many of you are planning it yourself/ that we are all newbies! I was wondering, even if you have the ceremony / reception in another location, where is everyone staying? I was looking at the Whyndham Sugar Bay.

Our reception is at Havana Blue which is the restaurant that is privately owned but on Marriott's beach. It is AMAZING! Exactly what we were picturing for our wedding, very tropical and excellent food!

Are there really no more St Thomas brides??

The reception site looks yummy! I love it! I may have to look into it when we go in a few weeks! It is near the Marriott? We were going to check it out along with the Sugar bay while we were there.

I feel like I'm way behind. I want to get married this year in St. Thomas but have yet to pick a place. I notice that in the USVI a lot of the weddings are alot diffrent than other places (i.e Jamacia) where everything can be done at an all-inclusivel. I plan to pick two places today and and really find out where and when I'm going to do this. Wish me luck. Oh I'm also going to a Bridal Expo tomorrow here in Philly. I know they won't have much for the Destination Bride. But I feel like doing it for the experince, hey and maybe I'll when a wedding dress.

Yes, it's right on the beach at the Marriott. If you are really interested, you should set up a time to talk to Winifred Mclean. She is the Events Manager there and is great to work with. Her email is party@havanabluerestaurant.com. We went down to St. Thomas in October and had the best time so I cannot wait for the wedding!!
