Raffles Resort Canouan Island is a 300-acre private estate embraced by pristine white-sand beaches and one of the world's largest coral reefs. The resort, perched amphitheatre-style above a protected bay, affords panoramic ocean vistas from each of its 156 luxury rooms, suites and villas, all providing at least 560 square feet of lavish living space along with private balconies or terraces.
A 17th-century church adorned with colorful stained glass and mural art work stands gracefully at the center of the lush property. Fusing traditional elegance with Caribbean flare, this venue offers a fairytale-worthy setting for tying the knot. Virtually undiscovered, Canouan Island is the ultimate destination for romantic couples. Two stunning beaches span the resort, each providing palapa-shaded lounges for maximum relaxation. Award-winning Raffles Amrita Spa offers an extension of the rejuvenating outdoor environment with its long list of indulgent treatments. Nuptial celebrations at Raffles are carefully customized by on-staff wedding planners. Brides and grooms can say I do in the church, on one of two secluded beaches or by the scenic 13th hole at the Trump International Golf Club. The Resort's wedding package, for the Fortunate Two, includes a personal welcome at the Canouan airport, champagne en-suite upon arrival, daily tropical fruit platters as well as wedding cake for two and champagne breakfast the morning after the wedding. Raffles also helps orchestrate the marriage license application process and arranges for a marriage officer to perform the ceremony.

Has anyone been here? My photographer friend Ruth and I will be shooting a wedding there in August - I'm SO excited. We are starting a destination business together so it will be our first time shooting a DW together. Fun, fun, fun. But I had never even heard of it before.
