karma: 10 | Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort & Spa (St. Lucia)
Designed after a Mediterranean village, with brick paths winding through 60 acres of scented gardens, sparkling pools and cascading waterfalls, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and Spa on St. Lucia, West Indies, is unlike any other Caribbean getaway. Spacious seaside cottages feature stylishly appointed living spaces, kitchens, sun terraces and private plunge pools and are sheltered from neighbors by thriving flora and fauna. At the heart of the village, a full-service resort offers a myriad of outdoor activities, fine and casual dining, live entertainment and pampering treatments at the Serenity Spa.
With staff wedding coordinators ready to arrange all the important details, from the marriage license and guest accommodations to the ceremony and reception, couples can spend their time relaxing and exploring the exotic surroundings. On the big day, the bride and groom may exchange vows at the picture-perfect Gazebo, in a deluxe, oceanfront Estate Villa, on a secluded beach or in a formal church setting. Celebrations last long into the night at one of the resort's many reception venues, including a choice of three upscale restaurants.

I was looking at St. Lucia for our honeymoon, but we were going to be spending an arm & a leg for all of our air travel, so we decided to stay in mexico.
When I was looking I found a really cool resort, I think it was fairly new and the prices were good, let me see if I can find it again, I can't remember the name.

This resort looks so colorful!! I love thinks that are modeled after Mediterranean villas. So pretty. As usual, I want to go there. Shocker.

Were the flights to St. Lucia that much more than Mexico?

I don't know how much a typical flight to st. lucia is, but for us, we would have flown to mexico, then to st. lucia, then home. So, it was going to be about 1000 pp, for our flights, which isn't bad for all those flights, but we're only going to spend about 350 pp on flights to mexico, so we'll be saving 1300 dollars that we can put towards our honeymoon.
When I was looking at Antigua the flights were expensive, I think a lot of the smaller carribean islands are more expensive to fly into.
But if you don't have a TA yet, you may want to contact tammy (host) and she can probably give you some advice, she is a TA and specializes in destination weddings, she'd be able to better answer this question than I can.

Thats where I am getting married.
Flights from Newark or Philly are about $580. They have a stop in either Atlanta, Florida, or San Juan.
Anyone have any question on the hotel just let me know!
