 | Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya
Minutes from bustling Cancun, Azul Beach Hotel by Karisma is an oasis in the sea of mega-resorts lining Riviera Mayas expansive beaches. Laidback luxury is the philosophy at this 98-room boutique hideaway, where all-inclusive rates ensure guests a carefree stay. Azuls No Jacket Required policy for dining in any of their outstanding lounges and restaurants, including the chic Asian-inspired Tainan Restaurant, permeates throughout the hotel.
Of the property has: three pools, two are for pure relaxation while the third is reserved for water sports and other fun activities. Azul has also taken lounging on the beach to new heights with four-poster beach cabanas, complete with king size mattresses and retractable drapes for added privacy. Contemporary-style guest rooms are warm and inviting, each outfitted with a charming patio. When couples are ready to mix it up, cooking classes and tequila tastings are unique ways to create lasting memories.
The casual elegance found throughout the resort is echoed in its wedding packages. Intimate ceremonies are pulled off with graceful ease under the beautifully decorated thatch-roof palapa on a sparkling white-sand beach. A dinner reception follows at Blue International Restaurant, with breakfast-in-bed the next morning to kick off the honeymoon in style. |

 | Re: Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya Expensive for the weddings or expensive for guests?
I am more concerned about the expense for guests than my expense in throwing the party. Is it AI? |

 | Re: Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya FI and I were considering a wedding here, but we were blown away at some of the costs. $1300 for a DJ for 4 hours and $325 for every hour thereafter. Seriously, a DJ in San Diego for 6 hours is about $1100!!!! Bouquets in upwards of $75 (for standard stargazer or tiger lillies). Exorbitant open bar fees...not to mention, you're forced into purchasing a package which may have items you don't want / need. It's really sad because we LOVE the look of AZUL. The crazy costs however have us looking into other options.
