Do parasols block the view of the ceremony?

Hi ladies,

I was hoping that someone could help me. I am considering ordering parasols because our wedding is on the beach at 3pm, so I'm concerned that it might be very warm for our guests. My one hesitation is that if people use them during the ceremony, will the people behind them be able to see?? (Can you tell I'm short!?!?!)

If anyone has any experience with this, I'd greatly appreciate your help.
