Hello everyone! Quick review of our wedding. Everything was amazing and we couldnt be more pleased with how eveything turned out!! We are still working on our pictures and will post when they are done! Again, thanks for all of your help on this forum. I couldnt have done this w/o all of you!!
Sunset Weddings: F This coordinator was hired in the beginning of my planning and we parted ways shortly after. They are unprofessional to say the least. Unanswered calls and emails and inaccurate info. I decided to use my own resources and work with the wh for the Pueblo Bontio Hotels, Laura Ortiz.
Laura Ortiz: A I have heard such horrible things about her that I expected the worst and had backup plans for everything I needed her to do just in case. However, Laura is very professional and Im so pleased with her. We met a few days after we arrived and had a brief meeting and tour of the PB Sunset hotel. I gave her all the things for the cermony and reception we needed her to set up. She wrote down everything and asked very specific questions. The day of the wedding, to my surprise it was set up perfectly. Shes also a very nice chica.
TA: A++ Wright Travel Agency. What can I say? We all know Tammys the sh*t. My guests raved about her and she got such great deals for everyone. Thanks Tammy !!
Pueblo Bonito Rose: A+ Brendan and I and all of our guest stayed here for the week. I loved this hotel. My guests loved it too. Its fun and not too crowded. The service and staff are amazing. The food is great and the views are incredible. The rooms were perfect. I was worried about the vendors and timeshare people but honestly, they are not bad at all. It was a very short walk to downtown Cabo which everyone loved. I highly recommend this hotel.
Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach: A+ We shuttled everyone to the Sunset for the wedding and reception. This hotel is absolutly beautiful! We got married under the gazebo and had the cocktail hour on the Manilla Bar and reception on the La Nao terrace. The views are incredible and the food is unbelievable. We got the Italian Buffet and everything was delicious. The staff is great and Ignacio, the banquet manager took care of everything. I was so happy we got married there!!!
Tabascos Beach Club: A+ We had our welcome party/bonfire here. We met up with Pablo the owner a few nights before. He had our contract with him and was ready to go. Hes bad with the emails while you are still in the states but once you get there, hes very professional. It was casual and fun and the food was really good. Pablo is a great guy and was present for our party to make sure everything went well. The only bad things I would say is that Pablo only takes cash which presented a problem for us. Also, make sure you get your itemized bar bill at the end. Ours was huge and I think some things were added on. Hopefully, this was an accident but I will never know.
Suzanne Morel: A+ My mom and I had manis and pedis and our hair done at Suzannes salon. She and her staff are amazing. I loved my hair and our nails were perfect. I had no idea what to do with my hair and honestly wasnt worried about it, I knew theyd do a great job. They did. Love her!
Floreria Shadia: A++ I ordered my bouqet and centerpieces thru this company. They were amazing!!! Not too expensive either. Everyone raved about my flowers, which were mostly Calla Lillies. They were beautiful.
Flower Cart: A We walked down town and bought flowers for the ceremony from flower cart. They were perfect too. A little pricey..
Transcabo: B They were hired last minute. I ordered 3 maxi vans for around $300. Only 2 showed up day of. They had to call for another one which left some of my guests waiting.
Spin Doctor: A+ I cant remember the name of this company that we used for the Sunset cruise but this is the name of the catamaran (the other one is LA Princessa). It was a blast! Open bar and ships and salsa, good music and fun crew for around $1250. We had about 30 people and eveyone had a blast!! If you are debating about whether to do a sunset or booze cruise, do this one because it turned out to be both!! haha..
All in all Cabo was incredble and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they ever went too. I used many ideas from this forum so i owe a lot to those of you whos ideas I used. Please PM me if anyone has more specific questions on these vendors. I will try to post pics soon!!!
