 | What to do after reception? We are having our wedding and reception in Wailea, Maui. However I've never been there so I'm hoping someone can suggest something to do after the reception. We are debating about having a dance floor, because we may only have 20-25 guests. We aren't sure we want to pay the set-up fees etc for dancing if no one is really going to dance! What else could we do after the reception instead? I have a feeling Maui closes down quite early compared to other Hawaiian places. Anyone have any suggestions? I just don't want to send our guests home after 8pm cause there isn't anything to do after the dinner/dessert portion.. Thanks ladies!
PS.. We will be hosting a luau the next evening.. so I need other ideas :)

 | Re: What to do after reception? Is the wedding at a resort?
Unfortunately, Maui does close down early...our hotel bar closed at 9 and we found a neat little local hangout down the road at a golf course...I wish I could remember the name of it! We also cabbed it into Kihei where there is a small shopping "village" with lots of restaurants, bars, etc. most of which with live music nightly.

 | Re: What to do after reception? Maui does shut down pretty early. I like the idea of the bonfire w/ music. It's intimate and it gives your guests a time to mingle and relax/party all together. |

 | Re: What to do after reception? Thanks girls.. we will be staying in Kihei so I'm sure we will check out what's happening around there. My reception is at The Seawatch Restaurant (Wailea) and it's beside a golf course I think..
