its actually pretty fun at night...they give out a daily schedule when you are there with the events of the week on it.

some of the ones i have seen:

  • karaoke night (hilarious....people are sooo wasted!)
  • salsa night (they give instruction)
  • movie night (super fun, they have this huge screen on the beach and they have beer carts and bring you drinks etc.)
  • pirate night (they do these shows that are pretty funny)
  • casino night (they have poker, blackjack, roulette)
  • bar crawl night (they take people to the clubs)

i can't remember the rest

well, we had poker tournaments in our room every night (it was great because we ordered a bunch of room service too) except for our wedding night.

DH and i were pooped and just wanted to get back to our room (which was so cutely decorated with candles, rose petals, etc).

half the group went to bed (parents, kids, etc)

the younger people (under 35) jumped in a few cabs and hit the bars/clubs in cabo.

That is exactly what I was thinking. My FI is trying to tell me we are going to be exhausted - I guess I can let him win this one! Just curious as most of the AIs we have traveled too have some form of nightly entertainment and a disco and I didn't see anything on their website!

Dreams had lots of stuff, and something different every night when I was there. They had a Wii tournament, which was funny... they had a Mexican night with live mariachi band and they had live music of some sort every night in the lobby/bar area. One night they had live music on the beach.. that was funny watching drunk people try to dance in the sand! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
