So, we the journey to getting married is a long one and we have become friends over the +/- year...i would like to have an area for everyone to stay after their wedding.
I have added a few forums below "After the wedding" but was wondering if i should expand on that and add more forums. Like a TTC (trying to conceive) forum? or something else.
what do you ladies think? any suggestions would be great...also if they should be private and how we should allow membership.

I agree with Tammym's suggestion that maybe you would be allowed in once you're past your wedding date. That would give people something to look forward to and more of a reason to come back- to see something you haven't seen before.
I like the TTC forum idea, maybe some sort of cooking/healthy recipes thread, a "funniest or strangest wedding gift" thread, home decor...
There's lots of possibilities, but I think it's a great idea!

How about a Random thoughts thread, where you can talk about anything and everything. I belong to a Boston Terrier board (caust I'm crazy about my dogs) and they have a Random thought thread, it's a huge hit and people use it for everything.

Maybe a "Dealing with In-Laws" thread? While my in-laws-to-be are wonderful I know enough people who have issues. And sometimes it's not like they don't like them it's just about finding a way to mesh into a new family and vice-versa (you FI/husband with your own parents).
I think because my parents are so different from us and from my FI's parents that sometimes he gets overwhelmed with our loud voices, and craziness in general. It's an especially interesting mix with cross-cultural couples. Just my 2 cents! Seems like it would definitely need to be a private thread though you wouldn't want your MIL showing up one day and reading all about how you couldn't stand her!
Tammy, do you have enough "after" brides to keep you company if you don't allow pre-ceremony peeps in? I think it's a good idea too - something to look forward to - but only if there's enough people (otherwise it's no fun!).

Tammy,
I love how everything is so organized on this forum. How difficult is it to create a bio page like on The Knot? It's great talking to the girls about this topic and that, but there are sooo many people now it's hard to keep everyone's info straight, dress style, color, ideas....
just a thought
